Manual cautions are called only when 2 or more cars have wrecked and are visibly stopped (or slowed) on the mini map. They are only called by the designated race control. Single car wrecks are not called as manual cautions. Exceptions: lag wreck or a car getting knocked down pit road from contact with another car.
*manual cautions are not called on Road Courses except for a collision that sends a car down pit road.
When a manual caution is called, and after pit stops have been made, cars will re-enter the track single file. You can chose high or low at the start finish line. If you miss the choose or double choose, you will drop to the rear. The field will restart on the next lap in the restart zone.
Being the cause of a caution will earn you a strike. 3 strikes and you will be asked to leave the race.
Strike 1: no additional penalty
Strike 2: must perform a stop & go on the backstretch.
Strike 3: will be asked to leave the race. You will receive last available place points.
Strikes do not carry over from race to race.
Tight racing is exempted. Lag cautions are exempted. Cautions caused by losing control getting to pit road are exempted.
Tight racing is defined by: side by side on the straightaway and into the corner. Single file down the straight and going underneath someone entering the corner isn't considered "tight racing".
